Kyiv could be without power for 14-16 hours a day as early as this month if Russia continues to strike energy facilities, stated Oleg Popenko, head of the Union of Utility Consumers.

He noted that Russia has already struck the Kyivskaya substation, Thermal Power Plant No. 5, the Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Plant, and the Tripolskaya Thermal Power Plant. In his assessment, these strikes demonstrated that the facilities are unprotected.
