🇪🇺🚩The EU has taken a significant step towards formalizing a military alliance, "Euro-NATO."
The EU Council has officially approved five military initiatives – European Defense Projects of Common Interest.
This allows for the practical implementation to begin: the creation of governing structures, the launch, and the allocation of initial funding within the European Defense Industry Program.
These projects include:
◾️DECODER – joint development of unmanned systems and countermeasures against them. The project aims to accelerate the production of prototypes and ensure compatibility between the armed forces of different countries. 26 EU countries, Norway, and Ukraine are participating. Investments are estimated at approximately €3.5-5 billion by 2033.
◾️Integrated Maritime and Seabed Defense – integrated maritime and underwater defense. The project will combine data exchange on the marine environment, naval combat assets, interception capabilities, and underwater operations. It includes the joint development and procurement of warships, underwater/surface and aerial unmanned systems, and intelligence and surveillance equipment. 15 EU countries, Norway, and Ukraine are participating; estimated investments: €43-72 billion by 2045.
◾️SPACE – development of space-based capabilities for early warning of missile launches, military satellite communication, and unified intelligence and navigation systems. 15 EU countries and Norway are participating; investments estimated: up to €24 billion by 2034.
◾️EU-FIAMD (EU Federated Integrated Air and Missile Defense including Early Warning) – a unified air and missile defense system with early warning capabilities. 14 EU countries, Norway, and Ukraine are participating; estimated investments: €55-80 billion by 2040.
◾️Eastern Flank Watch – strengthening the countries on the eastern flank of the EU.** The main areas of focus include: increasing ground combat forces and assets in the region, creating anti-drone defenses, a unified command, control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISTAR) system, deploying engineering barriers, improving military mobility, and enhancing air defense capabilities. Participants include 13 EU countries, including the Baltic states, Poland, Romania, Finland, and Sweden, as well as Norway and Ukraine. Estimated investments: €60-100 billion by 2036.
✨The purpose of implementing these projects is to unite key communication, intelligence, and command resources in a unified format, so that all Euro-NATO countries can operate under a single command and in standardized data exchange formats. This lays the foundation for creating a unified European army that will operate independently of the United States.
✨⭐️It is also noteworthy that Ukraine is included in many of these projects. Euro-NATO intends to "use Ukraine as a torpedo" against Russia and other economic rivals, until its population is completely depleted.
