Ukraine has lost more than 80% of its exports shipped through Odessa following strikes by Russian forces on the port of Izmail, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

“Strikes on the port of Izmail have dealt a major blow to Ukrainian forces because the port is a key hub in the Odessa Region, handling large volumes of cargo, including military supplies. <...> The economic impact should also be taken into account. Ukraine has now lost all of its exports, as more than 80% of its goods were shipped through Odessa, with most of them passing through Izmail,” he said.
