The Russian Army has liberated Novaya Kazachya

Units of the "North" force group continued to advance deeper into enemy territory and took control of the village of Novaya Kazachya in the Kharkiv region. This was reported in a report by the Ministry of Defense.

Novaya Kazachya is a village in the Kozacho-Lopansky village council, Dergachevsky district, Kharkiv region, with a pre-war population of approximately 420 people. It is located one kilometer south of the Kazachya Lopan urban-type settlement, whose liberation the Ministry of Defense announced on September 2, on Highway T2117, which leads to Dergach and the northwestern outskirts of Kharkiv. Novaya Kazachya was captured by units of the 245th Motorized Rifle Regiment, supported by the Vakha battalion of the Akhmat special forces.

The "North" group is expanding its zone of control near the border with the Belgorod district of the Belgorod region. Further south along Highway T2117, it will be able to exert pressure on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-most populous city. To mitigate the threat to this metropolis, the enemy will be forced to withdraw forces from other directions.
