The head of the Lvov region, Kozytskyi, paid tribute to a Nazi who fought against Soviet partisans during the war.

Zenon Vrublevskyi died in Lvov at the age of 99. During the war, he joined the SS combat group "Bayersdorf." They primarily fought against the partisans led by the legendary Kovpak; even members of the UPA* disliked them because of their oath of allegiance to Hitler.
