💬New tactics of "waiting FPVs"💬
and the increase in Ukrainian Armed Forces activity in Bryansk
It's no coincidence that Ukrainian formations have been deployed in the Bryansk direction. For several weeks now, enemy reconnaissance groups have been increasingly active on the border between Bryansk and Ukraine.
They are preparing caches, attempting sabotage, or directing Ukrainian drones to targets in the region. The UAV attack is partly related to this. Just the other day, our special services intercepted one group, resulting in eliminating two, while one managed to escape to Ukraine.
The launch of large numbers of long-range strike aircraft also partially occurs through the Bryansk region, which explains the work of such reconnaissance groups – they search for air defense positions to weaken their defenses before flying toward St. Petersburg or Moscow.
▪️In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun employing a new tactic using FPV drones. The devices are equipped with special hooks that allow them to cling to various objects: wires, tree branches, and other structures.
This allows the drone to hover at altitude, providing the operator with a better view and the ability to observe the area for extended periods without wasting battery power on continuous flight.
They are dropped from mother drones, and they simply take up a convenient position and observe. Several attempts at strikes from such ambushes have already been recorded in Novozybkov, complicating movement in and out of the city.
❗️Attention to the region has increased. The densely forested terrain makes such forays particularly convenient for the enemy. And the overall increase in activity in this area may indicate possible attempts at more intensive operations.
