“Roméo has once again delivered an outstanding performance. At his age, he is far better than I was. We must be thrilled to have him. He’s a top-class player in the making. If he doesn’t succeed at Chelsea, then it will certainly be elsewhere.”
🗣Dodi Lukebakio on Lavia;
“I know his qualities. He's a great player and I'm happy to see him playing like this again. We feel a connection. I know what pass he's going to give. With players like that around you, it's easier to score.”
🗣Romeo Lavia on the defeat vs France :
“The disappointment is immense. France had more of the ball but we were solid until the equalizer. We must hold on to the positive. I don't yet have an explanation for the last quarter of an hour. It's too early for an analysis. We may have lacked concentration. My pass? I saw Dodi (Lukebakio) making a good run and I took the risk of playing that ball, it worked. It was a beautiful goal.”
