🪐 Hello, Cephei community!

Today we will explain what Health Factor is and how to keep your positions safe from liquidations.

🟡 Understanding the terming
Crucial parameter of every debt position is Health Factor (HF). This is a convenient representation of your collateral-to-debt ratio.

Higher this value — the safer position.

🟡 What should HF be equal to?
Normal value of HF should be always greater than 1. Value itself can change due to currency prices and total debt you owe to lending.
If your HF is below 1, then position may be liquidated.

🟡 No incidents can happen
Coin prices are taken from well-known and confident oracle so you can be sure that currency will be always actual and correct.

🟡 How to prevent liquidation
So we understand that our Health Factor should be greater than 1. This is achievable only with such condition:

Collateral X Loan-To-Value > Debt

For example, you have deposited 100$ in TON and get 70$ in cUSD from lending protocol and LTV for TON is 0.9 — as the result you’ll get HF near 1.3 for your position.

👛 The most optimal value for Health Factor is 1.7 — such risk management will secure your position from any bad causes.

🟡Tasks have been updated
We would like to inform you that the weekly tasks have been updated today, so hurry up to complete them and get rewards! We will remind you about new tasks for your convenience.

❓ How is progress on tasks calculated?
We take into account the progress of tasks in each specific week. Therefore, when completing current tasks, only those actions that were completed during this week will get rewarded.

❓ Why is there a limit on faucet?
If you have already claimed more than 3 times, then you probably have the message «You have reached claims limit» at the bottom of the window with tokens. This limitation is introduced so that each user has the opportunity to take test tokens and test the application.

❓ The problem with account closure has been resolved
This week users complained about problems with closing their account. This problem has now been resolved!

🪐 Difference between a one-time fee and an interest rate

🟡One of the unique features of Cephei is user set fees. The user himself can choose how much one-time fee and how much interest rate he will pay for the loan. The higher the selected interest rate - the less one-time fees the user pays for opening a loan. The lower the selected interest rate - the more one-time commissions. A simple inverse dependence!

✨ One-time fee
The one-time fee is paid only once at the time of opening the loan. Over the course of a year, the one-time fee is more favorable than the interest rate by about 30%! So if you plan to keep the loan for a long time, the one-time fee is for you!

✨ Interest rate
The interest rate is paid at the time of closing the loan, and the amount of interest depends on the term of the loan, so the less time you have the loan open, the less interest. So if you are planning to open a loan for a small amount of time, the interest rate is your choice!

In this post, we want to explain why you might have recently encountered some issues when using our protocol.

🟠 Errors are popping up when using testnet.
If you use a wallet such as Tonkeeper, you have most likely already encountered this problem. Unfortunately, it occurs on the part of the wallet itself, and we can't influence it. For the period of problems, you can connect any other wallet. For example, MyTonWallet.

🟠 What about the faucet?
At the moment the faucet reserves are restored and you can claim tokens again. In the future, if you get the error «Insufficient Token Reserves» when using faucet, then it means that the test token reserve of faucet is spent. In this case you should not worry - most likely, the developers are already aware of the situation and are in the process of replenishing tokens.

✨ What awaits you in Phase II?
There will be more opportunities to immerse yourself in the protocol with future innovations from the Cephei team, regular releases and continued farming, the pace is just picking up!

Right now protocol Cephei is working on test network. Main difference between main network is zero worth of tokens (all operations in testnet are free).
We explained in the gitbook on how to create a testnet wallet - link.

⚠️It’s important to connect testnet wallet exactly, Cephei protocol currently working in test TON network.

🟠Step 2. Connecting telegram account inside ecosystem.
We go to the beta version of the Cephei protocol (not the farming application). After connecting the test wallet, select "Profile" from the menu below. Click the "Link telegram" button, after which the bond should be successful.

🟠 Step 3. In case of emergency.
If you still encounter any problem related to the application, our moderators are ready to help you in the comments.

The Cephei team has decided to move the migration deadline for three days (until December 25th), thus allowing users who have not had time to complete the migration and save their points.

✨ How do I migrate my points?
Simply connect your testnet wallet and your Telegram account to the Main-App. If you have already participated in the Beta Test, then to save your progress you need to connect the exact wallet where the transactions were made.

⚠️ The most frequent questions
"Which wallet should I use for migration?" - we recommend using Tonkeeper or MyTonWallet.

"How to add a test network to the wallet?" - we attach a link to a guide on how to do it in Tonkeeper.

Cephei provides the opportunity to receive test tokens to participate in the beta protocol. Everything is done for your convenience and comfort in the testing process.

• The maximum limit of branding tokens is 3
• You can claim tokens once every 24 hours

🟠 Previously, there were problems and errors when using the faucet, for example, when users did not receive test tokens. We have done a lot of work on this and now such errors are almost non-existent.

⚠ Missing auth token — current error related to the fact that a user connects a mainnet wallet, but still can use the faucet. This issue will be resolved shortly.
