Dear Students,

With Teachers' and Mentors' Day approaching on 1 October, the Dean's Office reminds you that the Hospitality Management and Tourism School follows a strict No Gift Policy.

Faculty members may not accept gifts of any kind from students, including flowers, chocolates, money, gift cards, or souvenirs. This applies on every occasion and to gifts given individually or by a group. Students are assessed on the quality of their work alone, and this policy protects both students and faculty.

Kind words, a personal message, feedback in course evaluations, or active participation to events (like on last Friday) are some of the best ways to show your appreciation. If a faculty member declines a gift, please do not take it personally. Any gifts already left for faculty members may be collected from the Dean’s Office.
