😡 Get over here 😡

Did you know that the iconic "Get over here!" from Scorpion wasn’t originally scripted! When recording the game, Ed Boon (co-creator of Mortal Kombat and Scorpion’s voice actor) randomly shouted it while testing the spear move—and it stuck.

Now, it’s one of the most legendary catchphrases in gaming history! Imagine if he had said something else—"Come here, buddy!" just wouldn’t have hit the same.

😵‍💫 How Simple Milk Caps Became a 90s Global Phenomenon 😵‍💫

The history of caps continues! Who would have thought that a simple game with cardboard caps could turn into a worldwide trend? In the 1990s, these humble little discs made an epic comeback—and it was absolute madness!

It all started in Hawaii, where teacher Blossom Galbiso reintroduced the old milk cap game to her students. But instead of milk bottle caps, kids began using cardboard discs from Passion Orange Guava juice—better known as POG. That’s how the game got its iconic name.

Companies quickly caught on, producing colorful, collectible caps featuring cool designs, cartoon characters, and even brand logos. Throw in heavy slammers to spice up the gameplay, and you had the perfect playground sensation!

🥛 From Milk Bottles to Caps 🥛

Did you know the iconic caps game began with something as simple as a milk bottle lid? Back in the 1920s-1930s, kids discovered a hidden treasure under wax-sealed milk and juice bottles—cardboard caps! With a little imagination, they turned these everyday objects into a flipping, stacking, and slamming game that quickly became a playground favorite.

This humble pastime found its heart in Hawaii, where kids would stack the caps, slam them, and see who could flip the most. Easy to learn, endlessly fun, and completely free, milk caps became the perfect distraction during recess.

But what happened next? How did this simple game evolve into a global phenomenon with flashy designs, heavy slammers, and an unforgettable name in the 1990s? Stay tuned to uncover the journey of milk caps from humble bottle tops to 90s collectible glory! 🌟
