i don't think he wants to promote any other token for now, only $GRAM. not even $USDT

'cause i'm pretty sure he's not ready for the community drama, verification, scam tokens, pvp etc, and he probably doesn't want to take other wallets out of business either. (just my opinion lmao)

and if you noticed, the wallet also only shows nfts created by telegram themselves (usernames, gifts, numbers). that's just what the UI displays though. it's a normal TON wallet, so it can still hold any token or nft, telegram just chooses not to show them.

so i think he wants the community to build whatever solutions they want. he's just gonna focus on $GRAM, telegram nfts, and developer-friendly tools that make it easier to build products on telegram that utilise $GRAM.

and now that the wallet is here, he’s going to integrate it even more into telegram, for example i think payment from ads would go straight to the wallet etc

this is just my opinion btw. anything can happen.
