I can explain, how Etruscan was decoded, for I see that nobody understands it! The mystical thing is that if I open the meanings of all the words, it becomes clear. But before I could restore the arcs fully, it was absolutely unclear! But my method was based on philosophy.
I studied the Idea of Saint Trinity. And my research showed me some truth about any language:
1. Language doesn't need to be understood to simply work in itself.
2. Any sign (word, letter etc.) can be meaningful only in the context.
3. The simplest mean-context is 3 signs.
4. Any language is a living semiotic system, where everything is connected, even if we don't understand it.
5. This system has it's core: something that never changes.
6. We can statistically examine all patterns of 3 signs (3 letters in a row, 3 morphs, 3 words etc.).
7. Images: first Etruscan texts I understood were written on mirrors.
8. I've got interesting thing: Etruscan language operates some base three-letter patterns: SVO, WVO, TVP, KAO etc.
9. Then we take that roots & substitute into another contexts, watching, how it works.
10. The core-roots, like TVP, never change, absolutely stony! It simplifies our research.
11. Archeological context: every text is written on some pot, mirror, wall, sarcophagus etc.
12. Cultural context: every text is written for some reason & purpose, it cannot be stupid.
13. Internal context: we don't try to etymologize roots until we restore their own cultural meaning & purpose.
14. Respect: we examine Etruscan art with respect it deserves, and find: if it's so brilliant, texts can't be so simple!
15. Latin as the core etymological resource.
16. Calligraphy: if Etruscan art is so precise (!), this shrift has to be for some purpose & reason. Need to study.
17. Check: tracing letters on photos I suddenly understood: I see so many words I can't find in the catalogue! Something is wrong.
18. Restoring the originals!
19. Stability: Etruscan is stony. We can find alternations S-W, T-O, F-8, C-K, reducing of vowels, that's all.
20. Hermeticity: Etruscans like precision, 3 words for the eternity, nothing to add or subtract.
21. Arcs: so few roots in 10000+ texts! It has to be polysemantic.
Then, when I've studied all the photos & mastered calligraphy, I found out: it is very precise! I can restore the letter from just its edge, for every letter in Etruscan text has its absolutely unique, but so stable slant & width!
Very important thing in Etruscan funeral texts is conservatism: if 3 letters are destroyed in CEKANEPI T---AS, we can easily fill these gaps, for this conservatism is stony, like its language, like its culture. Stone-like way of thinking is Etruscan philosophy of eternity.
And finally, when I've got all possible photos and traced it, when I collected 70+ mirrors with texts, I've got this Etruscan spiritual dimension. Troy, Ilion, Aeneas. Accuracy & precision, hermeticism & brevity, logic and practicality : all linguistic rules started to work. And then my semiotic trinity-method revealed all meanings: if I have all possible context of this LEO-root, I see its intertext field. And then I can assign some meaning to this field, like "floaty" etc. And then, if you know 1 and 3 words in a row, you can identify the 2. It works.
