A little description of my day.A little description of my day.
It was really hard for me to work efficiently today. It feels especially restrictive to use my phone without Claude. However, I went mushroom hunting and harvested a good haul! I also listened to my audiobook for a long time—probably about three hours—and came across an interesting section.
Honestly, I do not particularly like it when all the concepts in a book are based strictly on lab experiments. I prefer examples that connect to real life. For instance, the author described an experiment where participants chose between two options: getting a peach guaranteed versus an apple with a 10% probability (assuming they prefer apples). Most people chose the option with the 10% chance, even though it seems to go against common sense. There were many other similar examples. Still, as I keep listening, I am taking note of key principles to add to my Notion workspace. It is a very unique book, even if it relies heavily on experimental studies rather than real-life scenarios.
What I could have done better:
I need to adapt to the power outage schedule sooner and adjust my personal daily routine around the light-off times. On the positive side, I stayed engaged and attentive during every single lecture!
