I'm startled every time someone says that capitalism is a law of nature. That it contracts, expands and is the principle of change. No it isn't. Capitalism is a specific economic system which is built upon the capitalist mode of production. Capitalism has only been the dominant economic mode of production for the last 350 years. Not all trade is capitalism, nature is not capitalist, a sheep don't know of capital. It is a human-made system. 📚
