#BookLite I don't think theism can ground objective morality because it's inherently subjective by definition. What theologians often do is equivocate their proprietary use of "objective" with its actual philosophical or academic meaning. When they say objective morality they really mean god-based subjective morality, where god's preferences or commands become the standard. It's essentially an ultimate form of special pleading through equivocation.
