Ahh my cousin can maybe get into a quant 🙏

So the scene is my cousin is apparently in an old iit and soon going in 3rd yr so idk but maybe he can get into some trading company or quant though he/she is from core branch ...and I don't have any problem with that infact it will be a great news but the problem is my parents will start to think ki Kaash meri bhi iit me hojata and I can too land a extreme package or things like me bhi tech side chle jau cuz wha bhi package comparatively jyada milta h core ke but I want to go in core only ... Ab me ghar pr kya and kese smjhaunga...though myparents are supportive but fir bhi if u can understand...how to get away from this feeling
