Introvert, 5th sem student. Have no connections whatsoever with anyone in the college. How bad is it gonna bite me back in placement season?

have been seeing lots of posts regarding how luck and connections are extremely important in placement. i have 8+ CGPA, have build enough projects, better than most of the students who still don't know what they're doing in btech.

STILL, what i might be prepared for since i have no friend in the entire college?
