With mass cheating that occurred in the prelims, the top direct selections(even after plagarism check) will still include cheaters.

The current rule then selects only one team per institute from the remaining list, potentially compounding the imbalance and hurting deserving teams from top colleges and resulting in a worst selection pool for the regionals.

Allowing at least 2 teams per institute in the diversity-based selection could create a fairer balance between merit and college representation.
