Me when I finally get an internship after working my ass off for interviews and then realize I could have gotten there via Nepotism anyways🥀🥀

So after an entire semester of applying for off campus internships and giving on campus OAs finally had gotten an internship(on campus) then when I joined and after a week or so got assigned to a team and they give me a hierarchy summary of their team turns out their top boss is a family friend (to be precise a clg friend of my dad with whom we go on family trips every December), still I thought he may be like just a new C Suite or Executive but no, after few weeks get to know that he is an MD and that too just below the CEO in this company 🥀🥀

All that hard work just to realize that a simple referral would have worked for me otherwise 😭😭
