🇬🇧 The UK announces a £48m dementia research partnership to accelerate clinical trials and new treatments.

The £33m government investment, backed by pharma companies and Gates Ventures, will expand the BARBARA Alliance trial recruitment and link NHS data with research data to speed up discoveries.

A National Care Service is also planned to improve support for the nearly one million UK dementia patients, a condition costing over £42bn annually.
