🇮🇹 Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government has adopted a decree banning face-covering veils, including the burqa and niqab, in schools, with fines of up to €1,000.

The decree also limits non-Italian-speaking students to 30% per class and makes Italian-language courses compulsory for parents of students facing language difficulties.
