🇬🇧 Ineos will shut down three chemical plants in Hull, citing European gas prices that are now 12× higher than in the US and 8× higher than in China.

The plants support nearly 4,000 skilled jobs and are Europe’s last remaining world-scale acetylene facilities, producing materials used in pharmaceuticals, clothing, cosmetics, construction, and military explosives.
