Goodreads: 🌟(3.90/5)🌟

Nine years into the siege of Troy, a quarrel between Agamemnon and Achilles brings the Greek army to its knees. What follows is rage, grief, and the terrible cost of pride — with gods meddling in mortal fates at every turn.

Not a war story so much as a story about what war does to men. Three thousand years old and still the sharpest thing ever written about honour and loss.

⚔️ The foundation stone of Western literature.
