Which countries enjoyed watching Bollywood at some point ?

My dad moved to New York in the 80s and lived in a large Russian community. He said he remembers walking down the street and seeing Russians enjoy Bollywood movies/songs. They even knew the names of actors/actresses.

This really surprised me because I didn’t know Russians watched Bollywood.

What are some other countries that surprisingly watched Bollywood at some point.
