π Americans Enter Monkey Enclosure Over Meme Coin
Two US citizens were detained in Japan after entering a macaque enclosure at the Ichikawa Zoo near Tokyo.
According to police, one climbed over the barrier to the animals while the other filmed the incident.
The act is believed to be linked to the meme coin Just a Memecoin on Solana.
The monkeys panicked and scattered inside the enclosure, but the zoo confirmed no animals were harmed.
The token team later pledged to donate approximately $7,000 to the zoo.
