🔐 Password Strength and Hack Time Explained

The time required to crack a password depends entirely on its length and character variety.

An 8-character password using letters, numbers, and symbols can be brute-forced in about 5 months, while a 12-character password with the same character set could take up to 10 million years to crack.

A strong, long password combining digits, letters, and symbols is practically impossible to guess by brute force.

In contrast, short and simple combinations like qwerty123 can be hacked almost instantly.

💰 Bitcoin Hard Fork and eCash Launch

Paul Storch, Bitcoin developer and CEO of LayerTwo Labs, announced eCash, a hard fork planned for August. It adds Layer 2 networks (Drivechains) to Bitcoin for privacy, decentralized exchanges, prediction markets, and quantum resistance. Every BTC holder gets eCash tokens 1:1.

No presale funding is possible; Storch suggests using half the "Satoshi coins" (~550,000 BTC, worth $40 billion) for institutional investors.

The fork’s success depends on miners and exchanges listing eCash; refusal risks token illiquidity.

🔫 Shooting Incident at Washington Hilton During Trump Dinner

At a White House correspondents' dinner held at the Washington Hilton, a man armed with multiple weapons attempted to breach the security checkpoint, triggering a shooting. One agent was hit in the bulletproof vest, and Trump, Melania, and Vance were urgently evacuated.

The suspect was detained, but the motive remains undisclosed. The incident has caused a political shock, especially since the Washington Hilton is the same hotel where Reagan was shot in 1981.

The event quickly drew crypto-related speculation on social media, with unconfirmed reports claiming the suspect had a MetaMask wallet containing TRUMP and MELANIA tokens.
