This is Paradigm's third venture fund. According to Bloomberg, the fund is shifting more aggressively into AI amid a surge in interest in the sector and a relative slowdown in crypto investments.

Ctrl Wallet, a multichain wallet with over 2,500 networks, is closing after a June 23 hack via a Cardano wallet vulnerability. The platform never recovered.

From August 3, sending, receiving, and swaps will be disabled. Downloads have stopped. Users must withdraw funds or export seed phrases before then, afterward, only seed phrase import into wallets like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or Phantom will work.

🖕 Trump Claims No Salary, Crypto Income Soars

In February, speaking at a business forum in Rome, Georgia, Trump claimed to be the first US president to refuse his salary, totaling $2-2.5 million over four years.

However, according to the 2025 declaration, crypto projects like TRUMP and WLFI generated at least $1.4 billion in income for the current head of state. Meanwhile, about one million investors in the president’s memecoin face combined losses of $3.81 billion, reported NYT.

Vitalik Buterin has released the updated Lean Ethereum roadmap, outlining a series of changes comparable in scale to the shift to Proof-of-Stake. The plan includes overhauls to consensus, verification systems, data storage architecture, and cryptography.

ERC20 tokens and most DeFi protocols are expected to reduce fees by more than 10 times. Privacy is set as a top priority, with quantum security becoming a key focus. Existing applications will continue operating without changes.

The upcoming Hegota fork will be the last "old" update before the Lean era begins.
