The Dixon-Vivo joint venture has been approved by the Indian government. Dixon will own 51%, while Vivo India will hold 49%.
The new entity won't just make Vivo phones. It can also manufacture smartphones for other brands, expanding India's role as a global electronics manufacturing hub.
