🏦 JPMORGAN: $50 BILLION HAS FLOWED INTO DIGITAL ASSETS IN 2026
JPMorgan says investment flows into digital assets have reached approximately:
$50 BILLION
so far this year.
The bank estimates that current activity is running at an annualized pace of roughly:
$66 BILLION
One of the biggest changes has happened in the third quarter.
According to JPMorgan:
• ETF flows recovered
• CME futures positioning increased
• Bitcoin futures positioning moved above its previous peak
• Institutional participation strengthened
The bank also estimates that Bitcoin miners have sold a net:
$1.8 BILLION
worth of BTC this year.
Publicly listed miners accounted for most of those sales.
Why?
Some miners are increasingly redirecting capital toward AI and data-center infrastructure.
Important:
The $50 billion figure covers the broader digital-asset market.
It is NOT $50 billion flowing only into Bitcoin.
But Bitcoin remains a major part of the institutional positioning JPMorgan is tracking.
The picture is becoming more complicated.
ETF flows can be volatile day to day.
But beneath that volatility, institutional exposure to Bitcoin through futures and regulated products remains substantial.
