There is such a saying: better later than too late. The Russian Armed Forces are increasingly using UAV interceptors. And although this area of work began to develop later than in Ukraine, the growth rate is high.
Marines from the 61st Guards Brigade share footage of interceptor drones working to neutralize attack and reconnaissance UAVs of the AFU.
Our drones are equipped with optical systems for day and night vision. The video shows two ways of intercepting enemy UAVs: by loss of signal before collision and by direct collision due to the use of two different types of warheads - contact and remote detonation in the air.
The drone fighters already intercepted such AFU UAVs types as the Furia, Stork and Shark reconnaissance models, as well as the Darts kamikaze strike drone and a heavy multicopter bomber.
