India has unveiled a heavily armed version of the Sukhoi Su-30 fighter jet

India's Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released an image showing a Su-30 fighter jet armed with 4 RudraM-III air-to-surface missiles.

RudraM-III features:

The RudraM-III is part of the Rudram family of air-to-surface missiles designed to suppress air defense and strike ground targets. The RudraM-III is being developed with an extended range of 550-600 km and a more powerful 200 kg warhead.

The missile is equipped with advanced guidance systems, including INS, GPS and Infrared imaging (IIR), as well as 18 stabilizers (8 in the midbody and 8 in the tail) - which will make it highly maneuverable. This design, combined with a twin-pulse solid rocket motor, will provide hypersonic speeds (estimated at Mach 5 or more) and a semi-ballistic trajectory that will make it elusive to enemy air defenses.
