Drones of increased striking power "Герань-3"

A video with information about the "Герань-3" kamikaze jet drone has been published. The apparatus has a wingspan of 2.5 meters, a length of 3.5 meters and a cruising speed of 600 kilometers per hour.

Differences of the "Герань-3" kamikaze drone from previous versions

The principal difference from the "Герань-2" is the compact turbojet engine, which has a thrust of 250-300 kilograms. Previous versions were equipped with piston engines. Also the increased flight is also affected by the modernized design of the flying wing.

On previous models, the speed of the Russian drone reached 200 kilometers per hour, the combat mass did not exceed 50 kg. “Troika” develops a speed of over 500 km per hour and provides a combat mass of up to 300 kg, which is equivalent to the striking power of a cruise missile, experts comment.

Advantages of the new "Герань"

With the low-altitude flight of the"Герань-3", the reaction time of air defense systems should be quite short, and foreign systems are not designed for this. The appearance of the new drone will come as a surprise to them. The new drone, which has the power of a missile, will be much cheaper to produce.

Kiev will have to shoot down these drones with expensive Patriot systems, as conventional anti-aircraft systems will not reach them. In other words, the AFU will have to spend at least one American missile worth $2 million for one "Герань"
