Asia and Africa claimed to be potential customers of the Yak-130M

Potential customers of the new modernized Yak-130M combat trainer aircraft are Asian and African countries that already operate Russian aircraft. Alexander Mikheev, general director of Rosoboronexport, told TASS at the Aero India 2025 international exhibition in Bangalore.

The Yak-130M aircraft introduces systems that significantly increase its capabilities: onboard radar station, optical-laser thermal-television system, onboard defense complex, communications complex.

Modernized Yak-130M was presented for the first time at the Army-2024 forum. It is a full-fledged light fighter. Its armament includes air-to-air missiles and high-precision air-to-ground air-to-ground weapons.
