Molniya FPV drone with a 10-kilogram TM-62 mine destroyed an AFU facility in Chasoviy Yar

It is known that such UAVs use TM-62 anti-tank mines weighing up to ten kilograms, eight of which are explosives. There are two versions of the “Molniya”, the later version is characterized by a more powerful battery, allowing to perform long-distance flights.

“Molniya-1” is a traditional unmanned aircraft construction, using electric power and equipped with means of remote and autonomous control. A reconnaissance and guidance video camera and a combat unit are onboard. The UAV's air wing span and length can be estimated at 1.2-1.3 meters.

The FPV drone is equipped with a nose-mounted electric motor of an unknown model with a thrusting propeller. The drones used a pair of batteries with a capacity of 7,500 mAh each to power it. The exact flight characteristics are unknown. According to some reports, the range is over 30-35 kilometers.

One of the main advantages of the Molniya is the simplicity of its design, thanks to which its cost is not more than one thousand dollars.
