THAT WAS WHEN THE ANGELS WEPT.
mothers awoken their children
from their peaceful slumber,
fathers shielding their houses.
the chaos has crept the earth.
the moon and the stars
were forced into hiding,
avoiding the destructive
war that made flames
from the pit of hell
light up the night-sky.
when the clock struck twelve,
it was the beginning of
a hateful war between
the gods that forced
the mortals to choose their
side of sanctuary.
the scream of agony,
the loss of the unborn children,
the smell of devastation,
the never-ending roar of thunder.
on one midnight of misery
it all happened.
all because the gods were
selfish for the glorified throne.
the clouds were painted crimson
for the gods has bleed,
and a raging war will continue
for centuries to come.
