Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirms U.S. B-1 bombers have left RAF Fairford following the terror plot, but says the timing should not be directly linked.
“There’s regular rotations… I wouldn’t directly tie that to the move that was made.”
Rubio says these rotations are “not unusual.”
All U.S. bombers stationed at RAF Fairford have now redeployed to their home bases in the United States.
