To preserve the family in its traditional sense, it is crucial today to return to our roots. Natalya Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic, shared this view during the 4th International Forum "Conversation about important things". Loneliness, same-sex marriage, the child-free movement — family values face serious challenges in the modern world, and the international community must stand together to withstand them.
👉 Today, this international dialogue on vital issues brought together around 300 people beneath the ancient vaults of St. Sophia Cathedral. Participants included representatives from the clergy, education, and healthcare sectors, young families and large families, government officials, and, of course, parliamentarians, including six delegations from the CIS countries.
