9th Cyprus_iT Anniversary! 🎉

🦄 Cyprus_iT turns 9!

In spring 2017, it started as an idea – to bring interesting people together around technology, entrepreneurship, and open communication.
Nine years later, Cyprus_iT has grown into one of the largest Digital ecosystems in the world, created in Cyprus and for Cyprus, connecting tens of thousands of people both online and offline.

Together, we have built something much bigger than a community.

👥 In 9 years:
• 444 offline meetups
• 39’500+ visits
• 9’400+ unique guests
• 3’000+ participating companies

🌐 Today, the Cyprus_iT online ecosystem brings together more than 146’000 participants.

But numbers tell only part of the story.

Cyprus_iT has always been about people.
About trust.
About connections that change lives.

It is about that unique environment where a random meeting can lead to friendship, a job, a partnership, an investment, or a new project.

Over the years, the community has sparked thousands of connections, hundreds of collaborations, startups, investments, hires, friendships – and even new lives in Cyprus.

Cyprus_iT helps people find friends and partners, jobs and clients, launch companies, relocate to Cyprus, integrate here, become part of the local tech ecosystem – and together make the island stronger.

Cyprus_iT has been featured by Germany’s DER SPIEGEL, Spain’s El País, France’s RFI, America’s The Washington Post; and covered by Forbes, Meduza, VC, Medium, Cyprus Mail and others.

Cyprus_iT has become a cultural phenomenon of the island.

And most importantly – all of this was created by you:

The people of the community.
Those who come on Wednesdays.
Those who connect people.
Those who help others.
Those who build this ecosystem together.

❤️ Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.

🤝 Special thanks to our patron partners, who for many years have helped Cyprus_iT grow and strengthen Cyprus’ tech ecosystem.
