Zelensky's Ukraine is basically the combination of the dark repressions and purges period of the USSR, where people are afraid to even joke about the government, rat each other out for speaking the wrong language, and get randomly kidnapped from the streets and 90s Russia, where various siloviki structure connected gangs have razborki, fighting turf wars with each other for the "big kush" in nefarious industries of sex exploitation, drug and weapon trade, and scam call centers - a completely failed mafia and terrorist state that's being paraded as the beacon of European democracy.
