🔋 Interfacial Instability of Halide Solid Electrolytes and Oxide Cathodes Under Low‐Humidity Dry‐Room Conditions

💡 Novelty & Significance:
This study reveals that halide solid electrolyte/oxide cathode composites degrade severely under low-humidity dry-room conditions (dew point −40°C), not just inert gloveboxes. Dry-room exposure forms a passivation layer hindering Li+ transport, worsening electrochemical performance across multiple halide/oxide pairs. This identifies a previously overlooked processing-induced interfacial challenge, highlighting the need to prioritize composite-cathode stability under realistic manufacturing conditions.
