🇺🇸🇨🇳 Debunking Javad Zarif's myth that China became prosperous because it negotiated with the US
An in-depth analysis of China's actual history and how it became prosperous, which has very little to do with it coming to diplomatic understandings and frameworks with the US.
This analysis is in response to Javad Zarif recently making the claim that China owes its prosperity to negotiations with the US and that in order for Iran to be prosperous, Iran must do the same. The historical inaccuracy of Zarif's claims aside, whatever agreements China made with the US are very different from the surrender and capitulation Zarif has long advocated for, which he has a dismal track record as far as the failed JCPOA and his claims that there was no snapback mechanism.
