Important Appeal by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to the Islamic Ummah

> “Therefore, I call upon the Islamic Ummah—its governments, peoples, and elites—and I hold them historically responsible before Almighty God not to show leniency toward this filthy manipulation by the aggressive Saudi enemy, the partner of Zionism, as it moves down this dangerous path and engages in this grave criminal manipulation of the sanctity of the Islamic holy sites, which concern the entire Islamic Ummah.

It is attempting to engage in such dangerous, vile, and reprehensible conspiracies against the sanctity of Mecca and Medina, in partnership with the Americans and Israelis, in order to exploit this to incite against our dear people.

Our people are innocent, honorable, and dignified—the Yemen of faith and wisdom—too noble, pure, honorable, and deeply rooted in genuine faith to accept, even from others, any violation of the sanctity of the Islamic holy sites: Mecca, Medina, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the other Islamic sanctities, foremost among them.

How, then, could they themselves commit vile acts or carry out hostile actions against the Islamic holy sites, when they are among the first to defend and protect them?

The matter requires serious attention from the entire Islamic Ummah, and everyone must act firmly and not allow the Saudi enemy to manipulate these issues or enter into such vile conspiracies, at this level of depravity, together with the Israeli enemy and the Americans.”
