🌿 Allah says:

“And hold firmly, all together, to the rope of Allah and do not be divided.”

— Qur’an 3:103

🌸 There is profound wisdom in the image of a rope.

📌 A rope gathers what is scattered, strengthens what is weak, and gives those who hold it a common direction.

🌿 When believers hold firmly to the rope of Allah, they are bound together by faith, mercy, affection, cooperation, and mutual care.

🌸 Unity, however, does not mean that everyone must think identically.

🌼 Islam does not erase human differences or individuality.

🌷 Allah says:

“We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.”

— Qur’an 49:13

🌸 Differences of opinion can enrich thought, reveal mistakes, and open doors to understanding.

🌼 The danger begins when difference becomes division—when disagreement turns into hostility, suspicion, rivalry, and broken relationships.

🌿 That is why Allah says, “and do not be divided.”

🌸 The command is not merely to coexist, but to remain connected to one another through a higher bond: the guidance of Allah.

📌 The Qur’an also reminds us:

“Indeed, this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord, so be mindful of Me.”

— Qur’an 23:52

🌷 How much strength there is in a heart that refuses to become a source of division.

🌷 How beautiful it is when believers protect one another’s dignity, overlook minor differences, seek understanding before judgment, and remember their greater bond before their smaller disagreements.

🌿 In difficult times, unity becomes even more precious.

🌸 A community consumed by suspicion can weaken itself from within, while a community grounded in faith, compassion, and shared purpose can endure tremendous hardship.

🌼 So this morning, let us hold firmly to what unites us: faith, truth, mercy, and obedience to Allah.

🌿 May Allah unite our hearts, heal every division among us, protect us from hatred and suspicion, and make us people who build bridges rather than walls.
