#sobreng without meaning to, and without a question, my heart chose to lay on him.

cause maybe, maybe love isn’t always about finding someone who makes your heart race. it’s about finding someone who makes it feel safe enough to slow down. someone you can tell the smallest things to, someone whose presence makes an ordinary day feels brighter, someone that makes everything heavy feels lighter and softer. someone you don’t have to try so hard to love, because somehow, your heart already knows where it wants to be with, a place that feels safe.

and if i had to choose where to leave all the love i’ve been carrying, i think i’d leave it with him. not because i know exactly what tomorrow holds, but because being with him makes me want to believe in it.

so, whatever comes next, i hope he knows, that a part of my heart has always been, and will always be, his to keep.
