We continue sharing how the Model WHO went.

🔵Morning.
Second committee session. Delegates argued over preambles, operational clauses, funding mechanisms, and control measures. Draft resolutions taking shape.

🔵Then,
Q&A session with the dean of one of the best universities in the field of international relations in Russia – A.A. Sushentsov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at MGIMO University.

🔵After lunch.
Third committee session. Active work on amendments, finding co-authors, and refining the text. Every word still mattered, but the real final push was yet to come on Day 3.

🔵Evening. “Let’s talk“ with:
— D.A. Rebrikov – Vice-Rector for Research at Pirogov University, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences
— S.V. Dodonov – Chairman of the Youth Council of the National Center for Sports Medicine of the FMBA of Russia

Day 2 was less chaos than Day 1, but twice the focus.

HOW WAS IT?

Opening, plenary with experts, first committee session (4 offline+1 online).

Plenary speakers:

- Lukyanov S.A. — Rector, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences
- Nadareishvili G.G. — First Vice-Rector of Pirogov University
- Rebrikov D.A. — Vice-Rector for Research at Pirogov University, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Center for High-Precision Genetic Technologies for Medicine
- Fursov K.S. — Director of the Institute of Medicine at Pirogov University, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Member of the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs under the President of the Russian Federation, Member of Expert Councils of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation

As it usually goes, the first day is full of chaos and nerves, but that’s exactly what makes it beautiful.
