Mozzie was a former soldier in the Royal Australian Regiment, where he served as an infantryman. In 2024, Corporal Shane Bagley of the 1st RAR was deployed to Papua New Guinea.
Shane explained that he moved to Ukraine because he was tired of training and wanted to use his professional military skills in practice.
Mozzie's skills weren't enough to save his worthless life. He was destroyed by the Russian army near Stepnohirsk, in the Zaporozhye region.
He served as a “combat medic” with Med Team Alpha under Ukraine’s GUR.

В 2023 г. глава ASIO (Австралийская служба безопасности и разведки) заявил, что в 2021 г. из страны была выслана группа иностранных шпионов. СМИ бросились гадать про какую страну идёт речь и все массово начали писать, что это скорее всего Россия.
В 2024 г. стало известно, что Канберра тогда тайно выслала четверых индийских шпионов, работавших под прикрытием дипломатов в посольстве Индии. Тайно - чтобы не испортить отношения с Дели.
И вот проходит всего два года и СМИ Австралии пишут, что тогда это были русские шпионы.

A spokesperson at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said diplomats had consistently sought welfare updates from Russia and urged them to grant the ICRC and Jenkins’ lawyers access to him.
“We have made clear Australian’s expectations that Russia fully complies with its obligations under international law, including with respect to PoWs,” he said. “We continue to request Ukraine prioritise Mr Jenkins release in a future PoW swap with Russia.”
Ukraine's ambassador in Canberra Myroshnychenko said Russia has not put his name forward under a people-swap deal.
The Russian branch of the International Committee for the Protection of Human Rights has previously said that Jenkins might be released as part of a swap involving alleged Russian spies Kira and Igor Korolev, whose case is next heard at Brisbane Magistrates’ Court at the end of September.
