❗️Celebrating Trump's decision to denounce Zelensky and resume Russian oil imports to the USA with a Cuban cigar.
😎The informational war is real and we are it's participants!
The Overton Window is the range of ideas, policies, and public discourses that the mainstream population finds acceptable at any given time.
It represents the spectrum of political possibilities—from ideas that are "unthinkable" or "radical" to those that are "sensible," "popular," and eventually enacted as "policy".
The concept that the USA could turn it's back on Zelensky and begin fully supporting Russia was always outside the bounds of public discussion; shocking or taboo.
Radical: This concept was floated years ago by operators like Aussie Cossack but rejected by the mainstream.
Acceptable: In 2024 the concept that the USA should stop supporting Zelensky starting getting mainstream recognition; the public began tolerating debate on the topic.
Sensible: By 2025 this was widely considered a rational option in public discourse throughout the MAGA movement on X (formerly twitter).
Popular: By 2026 a clear majority of the population had anti-Zelensky and pro-Russian vibes around the planet.
Policy: Today the White House has formally denounced Zelensky and called for a regime change in Ukraine.
