❗️Ukraine has only received 2/3 of German aid; the remaining portion was spent in Germany itself – report by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy
Of the €100 billion in aid: €57 billion is military support, and €43 billion is support for the civilian sector. However, of the announced "civilian" aid, approximately 80%, or €35 billion, was spent in Germany itself on social benefits for Ukrainian refugees.
The amount of military aid that Ukraine has already received from Germany is also lower than what Berlin has pledged, according to analysts.
