❗️French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot accused foreign-aligned accounts of trying to influence the narrative surrounding the student protests in France.
According to him pro-Russian accounts portray the protests as a sign of democratic collapse, pro-Israeli accounts link them to France’s recognition of Palestine, while pro-Iranian accounts compare them to Iran’s “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement.
Barrot said these groups are attempting to impose their own interpretation of events on France’s public debate.
