❗️According to the Polish Armed Forces, a Russian Mi-8 military helicopter briefly violated Polish airspace near Braniewo after flying from Kaliningrad.
The helicopter entered around 300 metres into Polish airspace and remained there for 42 seconds. Polish fighter jets were scrambled and ground forces placed on standby.
The military says the incursion appeared to be an attempt to test Poland's air defence readiness.
